Petro Lucrum Family Office is seeking a dedicated and proactive Business Development Associate: Origination to join our dynamic team. The selected candidate will be instrumental in identifying, cultivating, and securing strategic business opportunities for our organization. This role focuses on origination efforts, playing a key part in the expansion of our investment portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Research & Origination: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities, partnerships, and ventures. Proactively seek out new prospects and originate deals aligned with our investment objectives.
• Deal Structuring: Collaborate with the investment team to structure and negotiate deals that are mutually beneficial for Petro Lucrum and its partners. Develop creative and strategic solutions to complex business challenges.
• Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key industry players, entrepreneurs, and business leaders. Attend networking events, conferences, and industry gatherings to expand our network and identify potential collaboration opportunities.
• Due Diligence Support: Provide support during the due diligence process for potential investments. Assist in evaluating the viability and strategic fit of prospective partners or ventures.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including the investment team and senior leadership. Share insights, facilitate discussions, and ensure alignment between origination efforts and the overall investment strategy.
• Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics. Provide regular updates to the team, highlighting relevant market shifts and their potential impact on our origination strategy.
• Risk Assessment: Work in conjunction with the risk management team to assess potential risks associated with origination efforts. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the interests of the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field. An MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, origination, or a related field, preferably within the finance or investment sector.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess business opportunities critically.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a keen business acumen and the ability to identify opportunities in dynamic markets.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
